Support
Haywards Heath & District Eczema Support Group
This group provides information to people with eczema and those who care for them, as well as the chance to talk to others with similar experiences.
Recognising the fact that many people find it difficult to attend our monthly meetings, especially parents of young children, this year we will be holding larger meetings every three months in different local venues. We hope that this will enable us to provide more information to people at one time and make it easier for them to choose from the countless remedies and products used to help eczema.
Our first meeting this year is on Friday 12th March at Sheddingdean Hall, off Maple Drive in Burgess Hill. We have invited representatives of companies who supply specialist clothing, bedding and other equipment to help people with allergies such as eczema. The companies will display selections of their products and be available to answer questions.
Alan Lovegrove, Chairman of the National Eczema Society, will be giving a short presentation about the work of the Society and there will also be videos available to watch and the chance to talk to others with similar experiences.
The meeting will run from 7.00 to 9.30 pm and refreshments will be available.
We are planning similar events in June and September covering firstly, emollients and suncare and secondly, alternative therapies.
