Can you help?
Everyone
loves time with family and friends - dining out, visiting
friends or spending time with the children swimming, bowling
or days out. For some families though, the simplest task of
popping out can be impossible because they may need special
help as they are caring for a disabled child.
The Sitting Service is looking for volunteers, particularly
in the Worthing and Adur areas, who may be able to help a
family or carer of a child with disabilities take a well earned
break.
Volunteers need only give approximately four hours of their
time per fortnight, and full training will be given so there
is no need for experience of caring for children with disabilities.
